Memorials and Donations

The Mill Memorial Library thanks you for your patronage and your support. Your generous donations will help to ensure that the library continues to provide quality information, community support, and events for years to come.

If you wish to give a donation in honor or memory of an individual, please fill out and print this form. Please indicate whether you wish for your contributions to be designated for general use or a memorial plaque placed in a book. Also, please provide not only your contact information but of the individual you are memorializing or honoring.

Memorial-Books

Book and Media Donations Policy

The Mill Memorial Library accepts Books, Audio Books, and DVDs that are in a new or excellent condition.

The library cannot use the following materials:

  • ENCYCLOPEDIAS
  • TEXT BOOKS
  • DICTIONARIES & REFERENCE MATERIALS
  • READER’S DIGEST CONDENSED BOOKS
  • AUDIO CASSETTS & VINYL RECORDS
  • VIDEO CASETTS (VHS TAPES)

In addition, we cannot accept materials that are damaged, torn, stained, dirty, or have an odor from smoke and/or mildew.

Bringing Donations to the library

Please bring your donations to the Circulation Desk.  Please do not place donated materials in the book return outside.

Large Donations (more than 10 boxes)

If you have a large amount of materials that you wish to donate, please contact the library by phone at 735-3030 with the quantity and a description of the materials.

What does the Mill Memorial Library do with donations?

All donations are greatly appreciated. The library may add certain items to the collection or sell donated items at our book sale.  All funds raised benefit the library.
